Fees

Maker fees vs. Taker fees

Trading fees are the costs you incur when buying, selling, or trading assets on an exchange. These fees are typically a percentage of the transaction value.

There are two primary types of trading fees:

  • Maker fees: Charged to traders who place orders that add liquidity to the market, like limit orders that aren't immediately filled and are added to the order book.

  • Taker fees: Charged to traders who remove liquidity from the market, such as by placing market orders that are instantly filled.

BookX offers an exceptionally competitive fees—a Maker fee of just 0.02% and a Taker fee of 0.05%. Our low fees allow you to keep more of your profits, making frequent trading more affordable. This enables you to closely monitor the markets and place orders regularly to maximize your benefits.
